Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a RoofField Inspector to join its independent contractor network. You will inspect steep and high roofs, assess exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using modern technology.

The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and empathy when dealing with insureds. The position is an Independent Contractor role with requirements including a reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 32’ ladder, access to LiDAR

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable Truck, Van or SUV and carry at least a 32’ ladder.
• Must have a Lidar equipment device or the ability to obtain one (e.g. iPad Pro/iPhone 12 pro or greater).
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams.
• HAAG Certification is a plus.
• Ability to obtain required certifications to join contractor pool.

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs safely.
• Evaluate exterior and interior damage on properties.
• Perform underwriting property inspections with detailed reporting.
• Use technology to assess property damage and guide repairs.
