Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, hotel, or club experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional presentation and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests at the bar and rooftop venue.
• Develop knowledge of Kilter's beverage program, food offerings, seasonal features, and member experiences.
• Guide guests through beverage selections and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
• Enter orders and process transactions using the POS system.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service practices.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups, mixers, and bar ingredients.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Collaborate with servers, culinary team, and leadership for seamless service.
• Manage inventory and communicate product needs to leadership.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Build relationships with hotel guests and club members.
• Support rooftop events and member programming as needed.
