Job summary

Hotel Bourre Bonne is seeking an energetic Rooftop Barback to support our rooftop bar operations in Louisville, KY. You will assist bartenders, keep the bar stocked, and maintain a clean, sanitary service area in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will collaborate with bartenders, servers, and management to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry bar supplies.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with opening, service, and closing duties.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar and service area.
• Replenish supplies throughout service and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Collect and clear empty glasses, bottles, and trash.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing beverage deliveries.
• Help maintain a smooth and efficient operation during high-volume service.
• Follow all hotel, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service standards.
• Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
