Job summary
Simon Roofing in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Roofing Service Technician to join the team. You will learn to make repairs, perform preventative maintenance on low-slope roofing systems, and provide roofing evaluations.
Training is provided, you must be professional and a good communicator; there are opportunities to earn $23-$29 per hour with overtime, bonuses, and strong benefits. Applicants should have at least 1 year of roofing or construction experience or military background.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of roofing or construction experience, or military experience.
- Driver's license is REQUIRED.
- 21 years of age or older to drive company vehicle.
- Ability to travel out of town up to 4 weeks when local work is unavailable.
- Must be able to work overtime in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect problem roofs, perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Drive a company vehicle to clients’ buildings daily.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with clients and team members.
- Follow safety procedures on and off the job site.
