Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Spokane, WA is seeking a Roofing Service Technician to locate leaks and perform quality roof repairs in a safe, timely manner. You will work with a crew on commercial roofs including TPO, PVC, EPDM, and built-up systems, while delivering courteous service to customers.

Qualified applicants have 1+ year of commercial roofing experience and a valid driver’s license with a clean 7-year record. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have driver’s license with a good 7 year driving record.
• 1+ years experience in commercial roofing installations or service (TPO, PVC, EPDM, etc.).
• Experience with installations or repairs of various commercial roofing systems.
• Safety minded, team player, with a focus on customer service.
• Very comfortable working from heights and outdoors year-round.
• Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs/patches on commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Built-up, etc.).
• Commercial roof maintenance and repairs.
• Work as part of a crew to inspect leaks, damage, and determine correct repair process.
• Load and unload materials onto the roof.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• On-call availability to respond to emergency leaks when needed (staggered schedule).
• Communicate professionally with customers and clients and provide recommendations.

Job Summary:

As a Roofing Service technician you will be responsible for locating leaks and performing quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect. Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities. Must have knowledge of all roof systems including but not limited to cold applied B.U.R., , E.P.D.M., TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, , Coatings, Metal Roof systems, Sheet Metal and related roof accessories.
