Job summary

• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on TPO, EPDM, PVC, and metal roofs.
• Investigate leaks, repair shingles, flashing, and damaged components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose roof leaks and other issues.
• Document service actions for billing and record-keeping.
• Enforce job-site safety and OSHA standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and proper use of tools and vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Commercial Roofing Service Technician is responsible for performing roof service and preventative maintenance on commercial properties. Their work involves detecting and fixing leaks, replacing damaged materials, and providing preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; investigating complaints; conducting
• tests; resolving problems.
• Establishes service by evaluating needs and requirements of the project; gathering repair
• supplies; completing installation.
• Communicate professionally with building owners, property managers, and internal
• teams.
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on various commercial roofing systems,
• including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and Metal.
• Perform leak investigations, shingle repairs, flashing repairs, and localized tear-off and
• replacement of damaged components on commercial shingle roofing systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose roof leaks and other issues effectively.
• Document service and installation actions for billing requirements.
• Ensure job site safety protocols are followed and all OSHA standards are met.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Reviews work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing job sites.
• Maintains a clean and organized job site at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
