Job summary

Vertical Solutions Roofing & Construction is seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Leader to build, develop, and lead high‑performing sales teams across our markets. This is not an entry‑level leadership role; you know how to generate business, mentor sales reps, and drive consistent results.

You’ll coach, recruit, and lead in the field, demonstrating how to prospect, inspect, present to homeowners, and close deals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential roofing sales.
• Previous leadership or sales management experience within the roofing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to generate prospects, conduct inspections, and close roofing contracts.
• Experience coaching, training, and developing sales representatives.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of roofing sales consultants.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales representatives.
• Work alongside your team in the field, leading by example through prospecting, inspections, homeowner presentations, and closing.
• Conduct field training, ride-alongs, role-playing, and individual performance coaching.
• Establish clear activity and production expectations while holding team members accountable.
• Help new consultants generate their first prospects, inspections, and sales quickly.
• Monitor individual and team performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive results.
• Generate your own roofing business while earning additional income through team production.
• Build a competitive, accountable, high-performance sales culture.
• Help grow Vertical Solutions' presence and market share in your assigned territory.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting and building roofing sales teams.
• Experience developing new sales representatives into productive consultants.
• Experience managing team production, performance metrics, and field training.
• Experience growing an established sales territory or expanding into a new market.
• Background in storm restoration and insurance-related roofing sales.
