TeamCraft Roofing is seeking a Safety Specialist to oversee OSHA compliance, safety training, and hazard prevention across our roofing projects. This role involves travel and coordinating with field teams to uphold safety standards.

The position pays $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year and requires a High School Diploma or GED plus roofing experience, along with a valid driver’s license and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with three years in a commercial roofing environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards related to construction and roofing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and drawings; strong writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety records and files.
• Travel as needed to job sites.
• Report unsafe conditions to safety director.
• Develop safety systems, policies, and campaigns.
• Train managers and employees in health and safety topics.
• Investigate injuries with field management.
• Keep up professional knowledge through training and publications.
• Conduct job site safety inspections and hazard control efforts.
• Coordinate safety meetings and toolbox talks.
