Advanced Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Roofing Production Mechanic I in Sanford, FL. This full-time onsite position focuses on installing and maintaining roofing systems across hot, torch, and cold processes, with emphasis on layout, material usage, and safety compliance.

The role includes supervising apprentices, coordinating with foremen on project specs, and completing finish work to high quality standards. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience required.
• Knowledge with gas and diesel engines and repairs.
• Experience with welding and use of cutting torches.
• Experience with troubleshooting running gears and electric systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform roofing duties with hot applied systems.
• Perform roofing duties with torch applied systems.
• Perform roofing duties with cold process systems.
• Layout a roof to incorporate needed slope and drainage.
• Lay out insulation for maximum use of material and best performance.
• Counts materials on site and keeps usage information.
