Job summary

Briggs Roofing Company is seeking an Inventory and Delivery Driver to coordinate shop logistics and material staging for regional roofing operations. You will direct material flow, drive daily jobsite readiness, and manage inventory, deliveries, and lightweight fabrication to support field crews.

The role involves maintaining a clean shop/yard, ensuring safety, and adhering to DOT rules, with competitive pay and a bi-weekly pay cycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Active and valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly and work in shop/yard environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication for dispatch logs.

Responsibilities

• Transport roofing components from suppliers to jobsites or storage.
• Stage, label, and verify inventory to ensure material availability.
• Fabricate exterior flashings and trim with shop tools as needed.
• Maintain an organized shop floor and yard to reduce hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance on hand tools and trailers.
• Manage secure transport of heavy trailers at sites.
• Follow DOT load securement rules and safety policies.
