Roofing Laborer

Compensation:$20-$25 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

A Roofing Laborer willperform a variety of tasks related to roofing, includinginstallation, repair, and maintenance.

Roofing Laborer Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing the Worksite: Setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other safety equipment. Removing old roofing materials like shingles, tiles, Nails, siding, plywood, metal panels or other related materials.Ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris.
• Assisting with Installation: Carrying and transporting roofing materials. Cutting and measuring roofing materials to fit properly. Laying down insulation, underlayment, or waterproofing membranes. Assisting roofers with securing shingles, metal panels, or tiles.
• Safety and Compliance: Following OSHA and company safety guidelines. Wearing proper protective gear (harnesses, gloves, helmets, etc.). Assisting in securing materials to prevent accidents.
• Clean-up and Maintenance: Removing debris and leftover materials from the job site. Maintaining and cleaning roofing tools and equipment. Conducting basic maintenance checks on all tools and safety gear.
• Other General Tasks: Assisting in gutter installation or repair. Helping with flashing and sealing to prevent leaks. Communicating with the lead roofer and other crew members. Being prepared each day ready to work with your personal tools,help the team to become more efficient,Follow out orders and plans from leaders overyou,go above and beyond what is expected of you each day.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience with roofing
• OSHA 30
• Clean drivers license
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to meet physical requirements.
