Colibri Group seeks an instructor to deliver pre-licensing content, lead exam prep, and update courses with a focus on remote delivery and occasional onsite

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching pre-license courses in the state of licensure.
• Active license in Florida General Contracting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver pre-licensing content in livestream and classroom settings.
• Teach and lead exam preparation classes that help students prepare for and pass Florida State Construction Licensing exams.
• Instruct assigned courses in accordance with the approved course plan.
• Provide instruction for Roofing and General Contracting courses, primarily in remote formats, and occasionally onsite as needed.
• Actively engage students in the classroom and create a supportive learning environment.
• Design and implement teaching strategies that help students meet course objectives.
• Evaluate student achievement and progress throughout the course.
• Mentor students and track performance concerns or support needs.
• Participate in faculty, curriculum, and ad hoc meetings.
• Assist with course content updates as needed or required.

Major Responsibilities

Instruction & Course Delivery

• Prepare and deliver pre-licensing content in livestream and classroom settings.
• Teach and lead exam preparation classes that help students prepare for and pass Florida State Construction Licensing exams.
• Instruct assigned courses in accordance with the approved course plan.
• Provide instruction for Roofing and General Contracting courses, primarily in remote formats, and occasionally onsite as needed.

Student Engagement & Support

• Actively engage students in the classroom and create a supportive learning environment.
• Design and implement teaching strategies that help students meet course objectives.
• Evaluate student achievement and progress throughout the course.
