Job summary

Ulrich of TX, LLC in Cleburne, TX is seeking a roofer to read build orders and install shingles or metal roofing on our custom sheds, garages, barns and playhouses. The Roofer will ensure builds meet specifications and perform on-site repairs as needed.

This role requires reading plans, using basic roofing tools, and working outdoors in varying weather. Training is paid, leading to performance-based compensation; full-time with PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• 1 year of experience with installing shingle and metal roofing.
• Experience operating basic power and air tools (air compressors, air tools, hammer, saw, drill).
• Painting/caulking experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read build orders and install shingles or metal sheets for roofs to meet build order specifications.
• Repair roofs or replace tiles or metal sheets as needed.
• Cut and shape materials and join with nails, screws, bolts or glue.
• Check work to ensure it is up to code and aligned with specifications.
• Be willing to learn and work in other areas of the build process.
