Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking Home Building Team Members to join our manufacturing production teams. You will follow standard production methods, work safely, and help deliver quality homes efficiently in a team setting.

This role supports the full home-building process and emphasizes collaboration, safety, and quality. This full-time position requires a High School diploma or GED, willingness to transfer between departments, clear communication, and the ability to read architectural and engineering

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company's physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Department Manager and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
