Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking qualified RoofField Inspectors to join our independent contractor network. You will assess steep and high roofs, examine exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using advanced tech.

A reliable vehicle and lidar-capable device are required. Successful technicians must navigate varied weather, stay professional, and deliver detailed reports with empathy for insureds.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely navigate and inspect steep and high roofs.
• Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Professionalism and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills and empathy when dealing with insureds.
• Roofing/construction backgrounds and/or insurance claims experience are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steep and high roofs and evaluate exterior and interior damage.
• Perform underwriting property inspections and document findings.
• Utilize lidar device and digital tools to record measurements and observations.
• Communicate clearly with insureds and adjusters to relay inspection results.
