Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants, a nationwide claims resolution network, is seeking a Roof Field Inspector to assess damage on steep and high roofs and perform underwriting property inspections. This is an independent contractor position, with inspectors using cutting-edge tech to evaluate properties and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are in place.

Successful technicians are entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with roofing/insurance experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 32' ladder.
• Lidar-equipped device or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Teams).
• HAAG Certification is a plus.
• Ability to obtain required contractor credentials to join our pool.
• Roofing/construction background or insurance claims experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs and assess exterior and interior damage.
• Conduct underwriting property inspections using advanced technology.
• Work as part of Hancock Claims Consultants' independent contractor network to deliver thorough claims inspections.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to support fast claims resolution.
