Job summary

Carmichael-Development is hiring a Rolloff Driver to safely transport and dump loose materials at various job sites. You will load, operate, and maintain the truck while following all safety and on-site directions.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B license, ability to work evenings or weekends, and diligent documentation of loads and inspections for daily submission to the logistics manager.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license required.
• Experience operating roll-off trucks preferred.
• Must be able to perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Transport and dump loose materials to/from job sites.
• Load, operate, and perform routine maintenance on the truck.
• Follow on-site flagger directions and safety procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per policy.
• Process and submit load documentation to logistics manager daily.
• Work evenings or weekends as required.
• Report issues to logistics manager ASAP.
• Maintain daily logs with accurate information.
• Fuel and clean truck each evening.
• Maintain a safe vehicle and equipment.

Rolloff Driver's primary role is to safely and efficiently transport and dump loose materials (such as asphalt, rock or dirt) to and from job sites and projects as required by the company. Loading, operating, and routine maintenance of the truck, as well as other tasks deemed necessary are expected of the driver.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe vehicle and equipment
• Follow flagger instructions while on site
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per company policy
• Work with and load a variety of raw materials
• Process and turn in proper documents for each load and/or project to logistics manager daily.
• Perform other related tasks as necessary
• Class A or B Driver's License required
• Work evenings or weekends as required
• Take direction from logistics manager or field personnel as required.
• Fuel/clean truck every evening
• Maintain daily log with accurate and legible information
• Report any foreseen issues with logistics manager ASAP
• Material hauled/dumped will be issued from the logistics manager only.
