Hitachi Rail USA is seeking a Project Manager - Rolling Stock based in the Hagerstown, MD area. The role involves coordinating onshore activities for North American vehicle projects, with occasional remote work and travel to Italy and other US locations. You will work with the Head of Program Management to ensure project success, budget adherence, and client interface.

Graduate in engineering with PMP or equivalent, or willing to obtain within 12 months. Travel approx.

Qualifications

• Experience in program management or planning.
• Ability to manage teams across multiple locations.
• Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time, on-budget, on-quality project delivery.
• Monitor costs, revenues, margin, and cash-in against budget.
• Maintain positive client relationships with direct interface to the client.
• Lead Change/Variation Orders and contract claims processes.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and SharePoint records.
• Coordinate risk management and escalate contingencies.
• Track KPIs and deliver monthly progress reports.
