ManpowerGroup is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor - Rolling Mill in Beaumont, TX. You will lead a rolling mill operations shift, overseeing 15–20 direct reports and coordinating with maintenance to ensure smooth production and quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety, and the ability to manage complex rolling processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree; degree is a big plus.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methods and techniques involving heavy mill machinery and related equipment.
• Familiarity with ASTM specifications for bar mill products.
• Ability to diagnose breakdown problems and support maintenance repairs.
• Experience on related steel mill rolling operations, with some supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive maximum production at lowest cost under established schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate a shift workforce of 15–20 engaged in rolling operations.
• Assign work based on sequence and labor skills using schedules and shift instructions.
• Coordinate with adjacent shift leaders and maintenance on condition, repairs, and changeovers.
• Ensure adequate personnel, materials, tools, and equipment; coordinate billet availability and quality control.
