Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, seeks a warehouse forklift operator for our Calhoun, GA facility. Operate lift trucks, perform pre-operational safety checks, and assist with restocking and labeling tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 80 pounds, and basic English literacy and math. Prior warehouse experience is preferred. Mohawk promotes an inclusive workplace with growth opportunities.

• Operate equipment safely as outlined in JSA.
• Perform pre-operational safety checks and complete a vehicle inspection report before operating equipment.
• Wrap cuts using proper-width wrap.
• Place labels properly on cuts & tickets on restock.
• Bag “Short Cuts / Totems”.
• Follow any duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Manually load/unload pad or other material not designed to be handled by forks or pole.
• Must be receptive to all training related to the lift truck operator position or any cross-training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Any other tasks assigned by management.

• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds frequently during shift.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or as a general laborer preferred.
