Job summary

Hana Technologies Inc. in Solon, OH, is seeking a manufacturing engineer to develop, implement and improve RFID label conversion processing in a fast-paced electronics assembly environment and provide manufacturing capability to meet quality, quantity, and cost requirements.

You will evaluate and install production equipment, collaborate with customers and vendors on process transfers, and program automated label conversion and inspection systems to deliver consistent results. A B.S./B.A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred)
• 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience
• Experience with laminating, die cutting, and roll-to-roll processing
• Experience with basic quality tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a Cleanroom (Class 1000+)

Responsibilities

• Review new product designs for manufacturability
• Evaluate, purchase, install & qualify new production equipment
• Work with customers and/or vendors on process transfers
• Program automated label conversion and inspection equipment
• Propose changes for cost savings, yield, & productivity improvements
• Research latest technologies in relation to capability improvements
• Train manufacturing personnel on assembly procedures
• Provide technical support to sales & marketing teams for change requests
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment
