Allied Printing Services, Inc. in Manchester, CT, is seeking a Roll Tender for the Web Pressroom on the 2nd shift.

You will load, mount, and prepare paper rolls, perform webbing and splicing, monitor roll performance, and assist press operators to keep production running smoothly. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and experience with material handling in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rolls for damage or imperfections prior to loading.
• Assist press operators with setup, maintenance, and production needs.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage, press downtime, and production runs.
• Remove and replace finished rolls, ensuring correct labeling and storage.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of press and surrounding areas.

The Roll tender assists press operators and ensuring continuous, efficient production. You are responsible for maintaining the rolls on web presses, monitoring press operation, and performing regular safety and quality checks. What You’ll Do:

Standing 80% | Lifting up to 75 lbs. repeatedly | Carrying 25-75 lbs. | Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
