Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring at its Blue Ash, Ohio location. This role involves following OSHA safety rules, performing vehicle and roll handling tasks, and supporting wet-end operations in a manufacturing setting.

As part of PCA’s operations, candidates must be able to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends, with a focus on safe practices, accurate record keeping, and efficient material handling within our corrugator environment.

• Assist wet-end personnel thread up machine or take down rolls when necessary.
• Other duties as directed by management.

Responsibilities:

Follow all OSHA requirements and safety rules.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED.

Qualified to drive a clamp truck.

Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

Good attendance record.

Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends, as needed.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Working mechanical ability.

Some skill at record keeping including paper records and computer data input.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Starting salary for position: $26.92.
• Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
