Job summary

Interstate Waste Services, Inc. is seeking a Roll-Off Truck Driver (CDL A or B) to join our team. Drive a Roll-Off truck, deliver and remove containers at customer sites, and transport waste and recycling materials while adhering to DOT and OSHA safety standards.

Expect a 6am start, home daily schedule, and opportunities for advancement in a stable, year‑round operation with union benefits and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 7 years.
• Clean driving record and strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Roll-Off truck.
• Deliver and remove containers at customer locations.
• Transport waste and recycling materials.
• Complete vehicle inspections and DOT paperwork.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Routes may require navigating congested communities and tight areas.
• Back maneuvers are essential for this role.
• Driver pre- and post-inspections and compliance checks.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Roll-Off truck
• Deliver and remove containers at customer locations
• Transport waste and recycling materials
• Complete vehicle inspections and DOT paperwork
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Other Duties as necessary
• Routes may require Drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined or tight areas in city locations.
• Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job.
• Our drivers routinely climb in and out of the truck cab to service customer accounts.
• Driver pre and post inspections required. Drivers are responsible for ensuring their truck is in compliance with IWS’s safety standards as well as OSHA and DOT regulations, and local traffic laws, prior to and while operating the vehicle.

What You Need

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Air Brake Endorsement
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 7 years

• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• The Driver Position May Be Required to Repeatedly Lift up to 50 Pounds, & Move & Maneuver up to 100 Pounds, As Well As Mount & Dismount the Truck Multiple Times Every Route
