Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Roll Off Driver with a Class B CDL and air brakes endorsement to safely operate a collection truck in the Harlingen area.

You will perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, service customer routes promptly and courteously, and maintain vehicle records in accordance with safety standards. You will load and dispose of waste at designated facilities, communicate with dispatchers, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Safely operate heavy truck on route and service each customer as assigned.
• Load refuse and operate the packer, dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to procedures.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable contents and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Follow safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.

Roll Off Driver CDL B (BROWNSVILLE)### Roll Off Driver CDL B (BROWNSVILLE)Apply: Harlingen, TX, USA: Posted Today: R-187649POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports (“VCRs”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
