Job summary

Gibraltar Industries is hiring a Machine Operator for our Hastings, Michigan facility. You will operate roll forming and fabrication equipment, perform quality checks, and contribute to efficient production with attention to safety.

You will follow job orders, changeovers, and setup procedures to ensure parts meet specifications. Experience with roll forming and die equipment is preferred; high school or trade schooling is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read production documents and follow schedules.
• Experience with roll forming and fabricating machines is preferred.
• Trade school or HS diploma required, 1–3 years in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming/fabricating machines and perform die cut-offs.
• Changeover/adjust/run production efficiently with supervision as needed.
• Set up and run parts to meet specifications and minimize scrap.
• Maintain 6S cleanliness and safety standards on the floor.
• Train or assist new machine operators as needed.
