About the Role:

The Roll Form Line Operator (1st Shift) is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the roll forming production line. This role ensures safe and efficient machine operation, production quality, and team performance. An operator supports equipment troubleshooting and maintains production schedules.

Summary of tasks and responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and oversee roll forming machines, presses, and related equipment.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to operate to meet production goals.
• Ensure all products meet Profielnorm’s quality standards, tolerances, and specifications.
• Monitor production rates, adjust processes, and minimize downtime.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate priorities, safety expectations, and shift handovers clearly.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA/MIOSHA compliance at all times.
• Conduct daily safety checks and lead toolbox talks for the team.
• Ensure all team members use proper PPE and follow safe work practices.
• Conduct daily safety checks and participate in incident investigations when needed.
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions promptly.
• Conduct and oversee routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance technicians.
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality control records.
