Job summary

Colonial Group in Denver, CO is seeking a forklift operator to safely move products from trucks to staging areas and assist with loading/unloading while maintaining inventory integrity. You will perform daily safety inspections of equipment and uphold clean, safe manufacturing practices.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months forklift/roll clamp experience, willingness to work all shifts, and the ability to obtain certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Move products from the truck to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures on trailers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
• Pick and stage orders and load/unload trucks, while maintaining inventory through proper handling and storage.

• Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform lockout/tag out procedures on trailers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
• Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 6+ month’s prior experience operating a Roll Clamp or Forklift
• Successful candidate must be willing to work EVERY shift.
• Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.
• Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
