Job summary

Applied Training Solutions, LLC seeks a Role Player Site Manager for the Civil Affairs Qualification Course at exercise sites in Pineland and central North Carolina. You will oversee contracted role-player personnel, coordinate with OPCEN, and support preparation, area familiarization, and government coordination.

The role requires Army CA expertise, a valid SECRET clearance, and the ability to operate in field environments with limited-visibility and variable schedules.

Qualifications

• Army-qualified CA SME with at least 5 years of Civil Affairs experience.
• Current SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to coordinate with Government exercise-management organizations.

Responsibilities

• Exercise command and control over contracted role-player personnel and supervise on-site staff.
• Attend OPCEN daily coordination meetings during applicable exercise dates.
• Coordinate upcoming exercises and support role-player train-up, area briefings, and scenario familiarization.
• Support management representation at planning meetings, daily coordination meetings, IPRs, and after-action activities.
• Support role-player conduct, preparation, train-up, validation, and accountability throughout exercise execution.
• Assist with site improvement/preparation, new role-player roles and scenario development, and cultural expertise to enhance realism as directed by government.
• Maintain contact with the OPCEN/management organization; continuous 24-hour presence in the OPCEN is not required.
• Do not normally serve in a role-player capacity; Robin Sage scenario allows a G-Chief to perform RP duties at base-camp sites.

The Role Player Site Manager is responsible for on-site management and command and control of contracted role-player personnel supporting the Civil Affairs Qualification Course. The position coordinates exercise support, attends OPCEN and other coordination meetings, supports role-player preparation and area/scenario familiarization, and maintains contact with Government exercise-management organizations.

Job Duties

• Exercise command and control over contracted role-player personnel and provide on-site management and supervision in accordance with exercise requirements.
• Attend daily OPCEN coordination meetings during applicable exercise dates and attend other planning/coordination meetings as required.
• Coordinate upcoming exercises and support role-player train-up, Pineland Area Study Brief presentation, and area/scenario familiarization using Government-provided information.
• Support management representation at planning meetings, daily coordination meetings, In Progress Reviews, and after-action activities as applicable.
• Support role-player conduct, preparation, train-up, validation, and accountability throughout exercise execution.
• Assist with site improvement/preparation, new role-player roles and scenario development, and cultural expertise/knowledge to enhance realism as directed by the Government.
• Maintain contact with the OPCEN/management organization; continuous 24-hour physical presence in the OPCEN is not required.
• Do not normally serve in a role-player capacity; a Robin Sage CULEX circumstance in which a G-Chief performs Role Player Site Manager duties at base-camp training sites.

Basic Qualifications

• Army qualified, in good standing, 38 series Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, and a subject matter expert on all aspects of Civil Affairs (CA).
• Current and valid SECRET security clearance.

Other Requirements

Performance Location: Exercise-dependent training sites identified by the Government; applicable work includes Pineland / central North Carolina and other USAJFKSWCS training locations.

Working Environment

Exercise support is performed under field conditions and may involve variable training days, limited-visibility periods, weekends, and federal holidays during exercises. The Role Player Site Manager attends coordination activities and remains in contact with the OPCEN/management organization; physical presence in the OPCEN is not required 24 hours per day.
