Job summary

Ad Astra, Inc. is expanding its network of qualified Rohingya in-person interpreters to support a new client in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a contract/freelance, in-person opportunity with flexible scheduling and government-related interpreting assignments.

Rates will be discussed during the recruiting process; background check and drug screening required. Authorized interpreters must be able to work in the United States and attend assignments in Fort Collins.

Qualifications

• Full professional proficiency in English and Rohingya.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to provide accurate, impartial, and culturally appropriate interpretation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and ability to attend assignments in person in Fort Collins.
• Legal interpretation experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates without legal interpretation experience must be willing to complete the required training before accepting assignments.
