Job summary

Blue Ox Transport Inc. is seeking a professional truck driver to perform drop and hook runs between FedEx Ground facilities. You will work overnight from Sunday to Thursday, 20:00–08:00, and be home daily after shifts.

Assigned late-model tractors, safety compliance, and weekly pay are part of the role. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance. Training for doubles is available after hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 21 years of age or older at application.
• Current DOT medical card is required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 5 years in last 10 years or 6+ months with FedEx school.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse status not prohibited to work.
• No DOT-recordable accident in the last 12 months; max two accidents in 36 months.
• Doubles endorsement not required; training available after hire.
• Ability to read, write and speak English per 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2).

Responsibilities

• Drop and hook between FedEx Ground facilities.

Job description

Schedule

Overnight, full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 20:00-08:00. Home daily.

Pay

Guaranteed $1,700 for a full week, on performance pay. Strong weeks run higher.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 or older at the time of application
• Current DOT medical card
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 immediately preceding assignment, OR 6+ months in the last 3 years plus graduation from a FedEx-qualified linehaul school.

• No DOT-recordable accident in the last 12 months, and no more than two motor-vehicle accidents with corresponding convictions in the last 36 months
