Job summary

Worley Group, Inc is seeking a skilled journeyman to support our industrial construction crew on site. You will read blueprints, determine reinforcement layout, place and secure steel bars, cut and bend rods, and reinforce concrete according to design specifications while maintaining safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Positions and secures steel bars in concrete forms to reinforce concrete
• Selects and places rod in forms, spacing and fastening them together using wire and pliers
• Cuts bars to required lengths, using hacksaw, bar cutters or acetylene torch
• Bend steel rods with hand tools or rod bending machine
• Reinforce concrete with wire mesh
• Loads, transports, unloads material, tools, equipment, and supplies

Position Summary
