Job summary

• Communicate issues to marketing, management, and customers as necessary
• Assist EMTs and Paramedics with directions as necessary
• Maintain appropriate status of crews at all times
• Delegate additional responsibilities to assistant as necessary
• Receive and enter transportation requests (phone and electronic portal)
• Communicate patient diversions and keep records
• Maintain status records and give appropriate ETA’s for Critical Care Transport
• Other duties as assigned

The dispatcher is responsible for dispatching, overseeing and maintaining the status’ of the gantt, monitoring Round Trip transports, giving out appropriate ETA’s, triaging ambulance response, and act as support to customer service representatives.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Dispatcher consist of, but are not limited to the following:

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of the position, the employee is required to sit for long periods of time. Employee will be required to listen to radio traffic/PTT, communicate over the phone as well as monitor and respond to all Logis chat messages, and ability to type is required. Employee should be able to work under stressful conditions.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee has verbal contact with others and constantly works face to face with and around others. Consistently uses office equipment such as computer, radios, printers, fax machine, ect.

Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr. rates offered based on years of experience and full time scheduled templates.
