Job summary

RK Industries in Denver, CO is seeking a Robotic Welding Programmer to program, configure, and optimize robotic welding systems for high-quality, safe production.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to develop weld paths, set up cells, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles. MIG/TIG experience and offline programming are preferred; an associate degree or technical certification is valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of robotic welding programming experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with MIG (GMAW) and/or TIG (GTAW) welding processes.
• Experience programming one or more robotic platforms.
• Knowledge of robotic welding power sources and welding metallurgy.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize robotic welding systems for new and existing products.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot robot programs using teach pendants and offline software.
• Develop weld paths, torch angles, speeds, and parameters for quality and productivity.
• Set up robotic welding cells for new launches and changes.
• Troubleshoot robot programming, welding quality, and equipment issues.
• Train operators and technicians on proper robot operation and troubleshooting.
