Job summary

Rhoda AI is seeking a Robotics Test Engineer to build validation systems for our generalist robots. You will develop automated test infrastructures spanning hardware, firmware and software to ensure reliable performance across real-world operating conditions.

You will implement scalable hardware-in-the-loop environments, collect high-quality data, and perform root-cause analysis to accelerate product readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test engineering, robotics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or both.
• Experience with embedded systems and communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART).
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and measurement tooling.
• Git proficiency in collaborative environments.
• Strong systems-thinking and data-driven debugging abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks across hardware, firmware and software.
• Build scalable hardware-in-the-loop and system-level validation environments.
• Identify, reproduce, and help resolve multidisciplinary failures.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, tests, and results.
• Generate high-quality performance data to inform engineering decisions.
