Job summary

Gildan is seeking a candidate to operate robotic production in a yarn manufacturing setting. The role supports the lead Robo Overhauler with documenting machine efficiencies, maintenance schedules, overhauling and cleaning, plus developing safety protocols and recommending improvements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, troubleshooting, and strong documentation and communication skills, ready to work in a cotton-dust environment and lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics, pneumatics and hydraulic applications.
• Troubleshooting knowledge as well as technical and mechanical.
• Great documenting and communicative skills.
• Able to work in a cotton dust environment.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Stand and walk for 12-hr shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of the robotic production in a yarn manufacturing environment. Assist the lead Robo Overhauler in documenting the robot machine efficiencies, maintenance, overhauling and cleaning schedules, develop safety protocols and provide recommendations for robot improvements.
