Infinity Staffing Professionals, LLC is seeking an Automation Technician to support robotic finishing and wax manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes reliability, productivity, and documentation of robot programming.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with automated equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and good communication for cross-functional collaboration. An associate degree is preferred and basic tools of the trade are provided.

Responsibilities

This position, located in Muskegon County, MI, provides manufacturing support for robotic finishing and robotic wax manufacturing equipment, with a key emphasis on maintaining and improving reliability and productivity of robotic equipment.

Pay

Pay: $27.75/hr (non-negotiable)

Openings: Multiple openings

Shift: Off-shift position; specific shift determined upon completion of training

• Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no company sponsorship available).

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience evaluating automated equipment and processes and solving automated equipment issues.
• Robotic programming skills to refine movement using various controllers.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Experience using industrial controllers.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
• Good methodical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and related issues.
• Organized, with the discipline to solve problems with permanent solutions.
• Robotics programming background and Weld Tech 2 certification (from Shape) work out especially well for this role.
