Job summary

Jersey Robots LLC seeks an energetic Robotics Teacher to lead a class of students through a comprehensive curriculum for the school year. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and passionate about teaching, with a focus on developing critical thinking and a welcoming learning environment.

You will plan lessons meeting standards, create learning materials, assign homework, track progress, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe environment and effective student support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and state teaching certification.
• Previous experience teaching at the K-12 level is preferred.
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills.
• Prepare any necessary learning materials.

• Take attendance.
• Grade assignments and provide feedback.
