Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon invites a Systems Engineering Graduate Intern to help develop and validate Robotics and Physical AI platforms by integrating hardware, software, and Intel compute technologies into complete system solutions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on robotics hardware, AI workloads, system integration, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of computer architecture, CPUs/GPUs, and AI accelerators.
Experience in AI/ML and robotics-related applications through coursework, research, or internships.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and development environments.

Responsibilities

Support design, integration, and validation of robotics and Physical AI platforms.
Work with robotics hardware including sensors, cameras, and compute platforms.
Develop, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software solutions in a lab environment.
Assist in deploying and evaluating AI workloads on edge/robotics platforms.
Conduct system-level debugging and root cause analysis for performance or integration issues.
