Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute in Smyrna, GA is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to develop automated testing solutions for complex software and hardware-in-the-loop systems, using C++, C#, Python, ROS and Docker on Linux and Windows.

You will design and extend automation frameworks, build UI and system tests, and convert manual procedures into repeatable scripts while collaborating with engineers to improve coverage and report results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with C++ and C#.
• Developing for Linux and Windows.
• UI and visualization frameworks experience.
• Developing and testing complex full-stack software and analyzing system behavior.
• Gitlab and Gitlab CI experience.
• Conventional computing hardware and embedded systems.
• Test and analysis workflows (Google Test; Python parsing, data analysis, plotting).
• Algorithms for analysis of vehicle trajectory and anomaly detection.

Responsibilities

• Apply system engineering and test engineering principles to establish automated test infrastructures.
• Develop software scripts to implement UI testing and/or system testing.
• Convert manual test procedures into automated test procedures using automated test infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical reports and presentations.
