Job summary

Carnegie Robotics designs and manufactures advanced robotics systems and components for defense, agricultural, mining, industrial, and off-road autonomy applications. Our ruggedized solutions tackle the toughest problems with reliable, real-world performance.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will design and deliver cutting-edge robotics software for US military stakeholders, focusing on sensor data processing, algorithm development, and robust system integrations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write high-performance code in C/C++, Python, Rust, or Go.
• Experience designing, implementing, and applying robotics algorithms.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and refine targeted robotic use cases.
• Develop adaptable user interfaces for diverse platforms and user profiles (React/Qt-based).
• Ingest and analyze sensor data from depth cameras and other modalities for system analytics.
