Job summary

Yamad is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to enhance production by reducing cycle time and improving quality through data-driven studies and root cause analysis.

You will work with robotics, welding, and fixture maintenance to optimize process flow, implement countermeasures, and report progress to management. A technical engineering education and hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate’s degree or Technical Certificate in Engineering fields; willingness to train.
• Experience with robotics (teaching and programming), welding and robotic welding.
• Ability to analyze data, understand process flow, read drawings, and use quality tools.
• Must work in climate-controlled office and shop floor environment; capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production processes through cycle time studies and root cause analysis.
• Adjust and repair machining fixtures; perform robotic welding setup and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate process stability and quality; implement countermeasures and report progress.
• Contribute to line improvement projects with data analysis and follow-up.
