Job summary

Monarch Quantum seeks a Robotics Process Engineer 1 to join a fast‑paced startup team in San Diego. You will plan, collect and analyze data, communicate results, and help build foundational processes while collaborating with leadership.

You will work independently and with teammates, mentor others, and embrace a flexible, growth-oriented mindset in a role that supports ambitious scale and cutting‑edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics or related field required.
• Basic knowledge of material properties, structures, heat and mass transfer.
• CAD software experience and basic scripting (MATLAB/Python).
• Export-controlled information access; US person required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, collect and analyze data and communicate results clearly.
• Work independently and with peers, reporting to the manager.
• Help build scalable engineering processes for a startup environment.
