Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Robotics Technical Architect to define and lead architecture for robotics intelligence platforms, autonomous systems, and fleet orchestration. You will drive end-to-end technical design, integration and deployment across cloud, edge and on-site environments, collaborating with engineering teams, OEMs and clients.

The role requires 8+ years in robotics, strong ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++, and hands-on experience with perception, SLAM and fleet management.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of robotics engineering, robotics software, autonomous systems, or related fields.
  • Experience architecting and deploying robotics systems in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++ for robotics applications.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics intelligence capabilities such as perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, sensor fusion or autonomous navigation.
  • Experience with fleet management and multi-robot coordination.
  • Experience integrating robotics with industrial systems and protocols (PLC/SCADA, MES, ERP).
  • Understanding cloud, edge and GPU-enabled deployment patterns, containers, APIs and observability.

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end technical architecture for robotics intelligence platforms, autonomous systems, robotic fleets and services.
  • Architect robotic intelligence platforms covering perception, localization, SLAM, sensor fusion and motion planning.
  • Define patterns for robotics foundation models, synthetic data pipelines and simulation-to-real transfer.
  • Architect multi-robot orchestration and fleet-management platforms including task allocation and monitoring.
  • Define orchestration services for resource scheduling, traffic management and fault handling.
  • Design integration patterns across robot OEMs, ROS/ROS 2, PLC/ERP and IoT platforms.
  • Define cloud/edge/GPU runtime architecture and security considerations.
  • Lead architecture reviews, risk management and engineering governance.
  • Provide mentoring to robotics and platform teams and create reusable standards.
  • Support pre-sales with technical discovery, estimates and demos.
