Qualifications

• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languages.
• Published or patented research at top-tier conferences or journals.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, optimization, data mining, and HPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and benchmark robotic manipulation policies for materials synthesis and characterization.
• Design sim-to-real transfer strategies with domain randomization and physics tuning.
• Integrate robots and lab instruments into automated workflows via APIs and data pipelines.
• Architect policy training pipelines using teleoperation data, synthetic demos, RL and imitation learning.
• Build production-grade agentic runtimes with failure handling and human hand-off protocols.
• Lead autonomous experimental campaigns using active learning, Bayesian optimization or RL.
