Qualifications

• Experience designing experiments, controlling variables, and analyzing results.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data from robot experiments.
• Familiarity with robotics hardware and sensors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run structured experiments on robot platforms.
• Set up physical tasks, fixtures, and benchmarks for robot evaluations.
• Collect high-quality robot data and track experimental conditions.
• Measure real-world success rates across tasks, robots, and model variants.
• Design evaluations with controls, repeatability, and statistical rigor.
• Analyze results to distinguish real model improvements from noise.
• Synthesize findings and communicate them clearly to ML researchers and engineers.
• Prepare robots, sensors, workspaces, and materials for rollouts and evaluations.
• Help kick off training jobs, run evaluations, and organize results.
• Beta test internal/tools for teaching robots new skills.
• Troubleshoot physical setups and procedural bottlenecks.
• Write documentation and playbooks for reproducibility.
• Improve experimental reliability and data quality over time.
