Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the Lakeland site. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, develop your skills, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles, all within a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, relays, etc.).
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours; travel up to 20%.
