Job summary

Cartamundi East Longmeadow is seeking a Robotics Level 1 candidate for the 2nd shift. The role involves operating palletizing robots, forklift duties, and maintaining inventory flow in a climate-controlled facility.

You will work on a team to ensure accurate pallet handling, labeling, and load quality, while adapting to a fast-paced manufacturing setting with opportunities for growth and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain palletizing robot equipment and related systems.
• Work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with others.
• Identify defective components or products and report issues.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and attention to safety.
• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory level and condition of working pallets.
• Sort pallets by type and suitability for usage.
• Perform general forklift duties.
• Operate basic palletizing robot operations.
• Maintain flow by clearing jams and moving products to robot pick points.
• Remove damaged items and return for re-run.
• Operate and maintain pallet wrapper.
• Label and organize pallets and slip-sheets.
• Report end-of-shift pallet counts.
• Generate pallet ID labels for location and inventory control.
• Analyze rejected loads to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure loads meet customer quality expectations for layout and labeling.

What You'll Do as a Warehouse Robotics on 2nd shift:

• Monitor inventory level and condition of working pallets
• Sort pallets by type and suitability for usage
• Perform general forklift duties
• Perform basic palletizing robot operation
• Maintain system flow by clearing jams and keeping product moving smoothly into robot pick points
• Remove damaged items, mis-reads, and no-reads and return items to system for re-run
• Operate and maintain pallet wrapper
• Maintain equipment and label supplies for pallet labels
• Sort and maintain supply of pallets sand slip-sheets in respective hoppers
• Collect and report end of shift partial pallet carton counts
• Generate pallet ID labels and apply to pallets for locating and inventory control
• Analyze and correct rejected loads and skids to maintain inventory accuracy
• Assure load and skid meets customer quality expectations regarding layout, labeling, count, and quality

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

• The ability to operate and maintain palletizing robot equipment, shrink wrap/bundle equipment and other automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• An emphasis on teamwork and can function well in a diverse environment
• Ability to identify defective components or product
• Mechanical skills and experience
• 2 years’ experience in a warehouseenvironment preferred
• Ability to keep a clean and organized work area
