Job summary

TEKsystems in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Robotics Engineer for a contract, on-site role. You will contribute to teleoperation, data collection, mechanical fabrication, and lab operations while supporting hardware and software deployment for robotics projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in ROS 2, computer vision, Linux environments, and CAD-based fabrication, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience with teleoperation and data collection using robotics platforms.
• Hands-on robotics lab experience with hardware, software deployment, and validation.
• Ability to be onsite 5 days a week in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots, workstations, sensors, peripherals, power connections, and test areas for experiments.
• Support Lab Technicians and Robotics Engineers with setup, readiness checks, and experiment execution.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate incoming/outgoing parts and equipment; coordinate with vendors and facilities.
