Job summary

Bright IA - Intelligent Automation is seeking a Robotics Engineer to join our on-site team in Fort Worth, TX, with regional client sites. Run integration of robotic cells from layout through commissioning and customer handoff, focusing on FANUC systems and AB PLCs.

You'll design and simulate cells, configure safety interfaces, and work with vision systems and EOAT tooling. Travel to client sites and on-site commissioning are expected, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in industrial robotics integration
  • FANUC programming and commissioning (TP / KAREL, RoboGuide) required
  • Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC integration required
  • Robot safety standards and DCS configuration
  • Willingness to travel to client sites
  • U.S. Citizenship required for ITAR/government work

Responsibilities

  • Program, integrate, and commission FANUC robotic work cells
  • Build and simulate cells in RoboGuide; design EOAT and tooling interfaces
  • Configure robot safety (DCS / Safe I/O) and integrate with Allen-Bradley PLC controls
  • Interface robots with vision systems, conveyors, and line equipment
  • Commission on-site, optimize cycle times, and support customer startup
  • Document programs, I/O, and safety configurations
